(Jewish Telegraphic Agency)
The Weizmann-Marshall agreement on the Jewish Agency was attacked by Deputy Isaac Gruenbaum, former president of the Club of Jewish Deputies and leader of the Zionist movement in Poland in an article which he published yesterday in the Yiddish daily “Hajnt”.
Gruenbaum expresses dissatisfaction with the Agency agreement, writing ironically that “after forty-four years of Zionist work in Palestine, an expert commission is to be sent to investigate the situation. The present development is an unpermissible transfer of Zionist work to persons who emphasize the non-priority of Palestine.
Gruenbaum warns the Zionists that ” a great disappointment is in store for them.”
