The Polish court of appeals here has decided to impose a harsher sentence upon Deputy Gruenbaum’s son, who was accused of Communist activity, than that which the circuit court had previously given him. Instead of a year and a half in jail, Gruenbaum’s son will now serve four years, besides losing his citizenship.
Young Gruenbaum was defended in court by the Jewish deputy Hartglas.
