Deputy Premier Simcha Ehrlich has been named to “monitor” decisions of the Cabinet to see to it that they are expeditiously implemented. He will carry out that task with the assistance of the Prime Minister’s Office staff and the Cabinet secretariats and is empowered to question other ministers, directors general of the various ministries and lower echelon officials, the Cabinet decided last Sunday.
