Birch Bayh (D, Ind.) are among the world’s newsmakers who will address Hadassah’s national convention in Chicago August 19-22, Bernice S. Tannenbaum, national president of Hadassah, announced Wednesday. Other noted statesmen, scholars and political leaders scheduled to participate in the four-day annual meeting at the Palmer House are; Gov. James Thompson of Illinois; Chicago Mayor Jane Byrne; Dr. David Hartman of The Hebrew University, Jerusalem; and Rabbi David Polish, Beth Emet The Free Synagogue, Evanston, Ill.
