Der Weg, the first and oldest Jewish newspaper in Mexico, is celebrating its 50th anniversary this week. The bilingual Yiddish Spanish paper is edited by Chaim Lazdeiski who is also the Jewish Telegraphic Agency’s correspondent in Mexico. He was honored by the Central Jewish Committee for 29 years of service as its executive director on the occasion of his 60th birthday.
There will be no Daily News Bulletin dated February 18 due to Washington’s Birthday, a postal holiday.
