“Despite ongoing contacts” with Palestinian negotiators, “there is no development worthy of mention” in the peace process, Prime Minister Ehud Barak said at a Cabinet meeting, adding that there “has been no movement in the Palestinian position.” His remarks came as Israeli and Palestinian officials resumed talks in the region after inconclusive discussions last week in New York.
