A total of more than $2,500,000 in War Bonds was bought by Detroit Jews in groups during the past month, it was learned here today.
The synagogues alone sold more than $1,250,000 in Bonds, with only half the synagogues participating thus far. In addition, Knollwood Country Club is buying $1,000,000 in Bonds, the campaign closing on Oct. 12. Franklin Hills Country Club has already purchased $385,000 in Bonds. Landsmanshaften and other groups are conducting lively drives.
