Abraham J. Koffman, one of Detroit’s Zionist leaders, died suddenly while attending Passover services at Congregation Shaarey Zedek.
Mr. Koffman, who was 53 years old, had served as president of the Zionist District, Jewish National Fund and other organizations. He was affiliated with all important local Jewish philanthropic and educational causes and was one of Detroit’s most liberal donors to worthy causes.
