Lloyd W. Dinkelspiel, former president of the San Francisco Jewish Welfare Fund, has been elected president of the board of trustees of Leland Stanford University. The board controls the fiscal and educational policies of the institution, one of the largest in the West. Mr. Dinkelspiel graduated from Stanford in the class of 1920. He has been a member of the board of trustees since 1947.
