David Horowitz, director-general of the Israel Finance Ministry, participated in financial and economic talks here today with high-ranking American officials.
In the company of Israel Ambassador Eliahu Elath, Mr. Horowitz called at the State Department late this afternoon to see Acting Assistant Secretary of State Raymond Hare. Earlier today, he met with President Herbert Gaston of the Export-Import Bank and with Eugene Black, president of the World Bank. Mr. Horowitz said he has “full confidence” that Israel’s economic problem will be successfully solved.
