Dr. Benjamin M. Selekman, Labor arbitrator, social service worker and executive director of the Associated Jewish Philanthropies of Boston for the past 16 years, has been appointed the first Louis E. Kirstein Professor of labor Relations at the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration, Dean Donald L. David announced tonight.
The new chair will continue the life-long activities of the late Mr. Kirstein. Boston philanthropist, in the improvement of human relations in business and community life and will point the way toward the maximum cooperation between labor, business and other groups, Dean David explained.
