The American system of land title guarantee will be the subject of study by Moses Dunkahn, assistant director of the Land Department of the Palestine Government, who is here on his way to London and American.
Unable to speak in his capacity as civil servant, Mr. Dunkahn declined an interview. He did say, however, that the Palestine government is earnestly endeavoring to complete the land survey and has appointed able officers to this end.
Asked whether the absence of a land register is what hinders the acquisition of crown lands by the Jews, Mr. Dunkahn declared that while the court decisions never destroy the bona fide of titles, still, the survey completion will remove all difficulties. He added that the dispute between the Arabs and the Jewish colonist of Hedera over the right of a strip of land is a purely legal matter.
