Thirty-two Israeli athletes will compete in the international games for the disabled, that will take place in Long Island. The Israeli athletes are champions in their fields. Most are Israeli defense force veterans, injured while engaged in combat. They will now be able to meet side by side with many athletes from around the world, including Arab athletes.
