Discrimination against Israeli Arabs and human rights violations against Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza Strip continues, an Israeli civil rights organization said in its annual report. The Association for Civil Rights in Israel said some advances had been made such as the passage of the Freedom of Information Act. But ACRI noted that administrative detentions and the torture of prisoners in the territories have not been stopped.
