Discrimination Against Jews in Professional Sport in U.S., Survey Establishes

Organized amateur sports such as golf and tennis are guilty of discrimination against great numbers of America’s minority groups, a survey conducted by the B’nai B’rith Anti-Defamation League and made public today reveals.

Organized professional sport, however, was lauded for its contributions to the American ideal of equal opportunity by the survey. Boring was credited as first among all sports in which minority groups are given full opportunity, with baseball, football and basketball following in that order.
