Large crowds gathered last night in front of the headquarters building of the Central Committee of Jewish Refugees in Italy to cheer the U.N. decision on the partitioning of Palestine. Shouting, drinking and exuberant dancers thronged the street. Mass meetings commemorating the decision will be held today at all DP and refugee camps.
