Communal dissension, apathy to Jewish affairs and the lack of able leadership may bring about the disintegration of the Jewish community in Greece, it is feared here. Two recent conferences of Jewish communal representatives failed to solve the outstanding problems connected with the administration of Jewish heirless property and in the development of religious programs here.

It is pointed out here that although the Jewish Board for the Administration of Heirless Property has considerable funds under its control, many Jewish institutions doing valuable work may close down due to a lack of funds.
