Albert S. Lavenson, department store owner of Oakland, Cal., distributed $100,000 among the seventy-two employees who had been in the firm for more than ten years. Mr. Lavenson made the gift on retiring from active partnership in the firm.
Mr. Lavenson is president of Temple Sinai.
