Mayor Meier Dizengoff, who has just returned from a trip to Europe, today laid the cornerstone of the fifth clinic to be erected by the Kupat Cholim, the sick benefit fund organized by the Histadruth, the Central Labor Federation of Palestine. Alexander Z. Rabinowitz, veteran Jewish labor leader, was the principal speaker at the ceremony.
The new clinic will have three wings of three stories each and will be the headquarters for the entire district. It will include special divisions for surgery and dentistry. The estimated cost of putting up the clinic is £18,000.
