M. Dizengoff, mayor of Tel-Aviv, has visited the High Commissioner and told him of the preparations being made for the 1934 Near East Exhibition and Fair. Sir Arthur Wauchope is the patron of the exhibition. The celebration of the twenty-fifth anniversary of Tel-Aviv’s founding, which occurs next year, will be one of the features of the exhibition. The first big building to be erected on the Fair grounds will be the British Industries Pavilion. A total sum of 50,000 pounds will be spent putting up the various Fair buildings.
