Roman Dmowski, noted Polish statesman, has accepted the office of Foreign Minister in Premier Witos Cabinet.
Mr. Dmowski’s appointment to this post was by no means unexpected, the invitation having been extended some time back. He succeeds M. Seyda, whose resignation will have no effect on the other members of the Witos’ Government.
Poland’s chief spokesman at the Peace Conference, M. Dmowski is considered one of the outstanding Polish statesmen. His attitude on the Jewish question is pronouncedly hostile. In an interview a few days ago he denied the existence of a Jewish question in Poland, but insisted that the percentage norm against Jewish students in universities is purely a government measure.
