Affirming their faith in the usefulness of the boycott as a means of combatting the Nazi menace and rescuing their colleagues in Germany, about 2,000 doctors, dentists and pharmacists gathered Wednesday night in the Hotel. Pennsylvania to voice their opinions regarding the Hitler political principles. The gathering was arranged by the Allied Dental Council and representative organizations which were reported to represent a combined membership of 15,000.

Speakers included former German Ambassador James W. Gerard, Dr. A. J. Rongy, obstetrician; Dr. M. I. Schamberg, Dr. Max Winkler, Rabbi Israel Goldstein, president of the Jewish National Fund of America; Meyer A. Feinberg, Dr. J. S. Calman and Dr. J. H. Kauffmann. Samuel Untermyer sent a message expressing regret at his inability to attend.

Rabbi Goldstein and Mr. Feinberg warned against purchasing yarmelkahs, prayer caps, or Chanukah candles which were manufactured in Germany.
