The Hebrew University today announced the appointment of Dr. Arieh Tartakower, Polish-Jewish leader now residing in the United States, as a lecturer in sociology at the university. He will occupy the “Arthur Ruppin Memorial Chair” a grant for which was made to the university in honor of the late sociologist. Efforts are being made to secure transportation for Dr. Tartakower.
