Dr. Ariel Benzion, representative of the Palestine Foundation Fund of the Sephardic countries, died here yesterday at the age of forty-five.
Dr. Benzion was elected a member of the Spanish Academy of History in Madrid this year following the publication of a book on the Zohar.
Dr. Benzion, who was born in Jerusalem, came of a distinguished Sephardic family. His wife is the former Ida Seigler of Montreal.
