The remains of Dr. Noah Barou, late chairman of the European executive of the World Jewish Congress who died here Monday at the age of 66, were cremated today after funeral services attended by an Israel diplomatic delegation headed by Ambassador Eliahu Elath, World Jewish Congress leaders and representatives of many British Zionist and Jewish communal organizations. The eulogy was delivered by Dr. Maurice L. Perlzweig, WJC leader.
World Jewish Congress headquarters here were closed today in respect to Dr. Barou Meanwhile, hundreds of messages of condolence have been arriving at WJC headquarters from all parts of the word. Dr. Nahum Goldmann, president of the Congress, will address a memorial meeting here Sept. 15.
