Dr. Edward J. Bloustein, a prominent Jewish attorney and professor of law at New York University, has been named president of Bemington College, an experimental women’s college in Vermont. Born in New York City, Dr. Bloustein was the son of Samuel Bloustein who came to this country from Poland and worked in a New York City hotel. He was fired from his job when he refused to work on the High Holy Days.
