Dr. Bronfin Dies; Head of Hospital

Dr. Isadore David Bronfin, medical director of the National Jewish Hospital at Denver, Colo., died there suddenly yesterday morning, according to word received in New York. He was forty-seven years old.

Dr. Bronfin was named to the position which he occupied at the time of his death in 1928. He was an authority on tuberculosis, and prior to his appointment at the National Jewish Hospital served as superintendent of Beth Israel Hospital, Boston, Mass., was assistant professor of medicine at the University of Colorado and organized the first Jewish training school for nurses in New England.

Born at Lantzkriene, Podolsk, Russia, September 13, 1886, the deceased received his M. D. at Long Island College Hospital, Brooklyn.

Funeral services will be held at Denver this afternoon. Besides his widow, two sons survive.

N. J. TEMPLE FOUNDER DIES AT 75; RITES TODAY

Samson Freudenberger, founder and trustee of Temple Beth El Congregation, Jersey City, died at his home, 45 Fairview avenue, Jersey City, Monday. He was seventy-five years old and had figured prominently in mercantile circles for more than forty years. Funeral services will be held at the temple today.
