Dr. Boris Brutzkus, professor of agrarian economics at the Hebrew University since 1933, died here today at the age of 64. The Hermann Schapira Chair in agrarian economics, which he occupied, was endowed by the Jewish National Fund. Born in Russia, Prof. Brutzkus had to leave in 1922 because of his opposition to the Communist regime. From 1922 until he left for Jerusalem, Prof. Brutzkus was on the faculty of the Russian Scientific Institute at Berlin.
