Dr. David Levin, noted educator in Israel, has been awarded the 1958 Dr. Nisson Touroff Memorial Award for works in the Hebrew language in the fields of psychology, education and art, it was reported here today by Edmund Melton, who established the annual award of $250. Dr. Touroff was Professor of Modern Hebrew Literature at the Jewish Institute of Religion in New York and later served as Professor of Philosophy of Education at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
