The major role of the DAIA, central Jewish representative body in Argentina, is its fight against anti-Semitism, Dr. Ricardo Dubrovsky, newly-elected president, declared at a ceremony installing him and the other officers. At Dr. Dubrovsky’s suggestion, Dr. Moises Goldman, his predecessor, was elected honorary president.
Dr. Goldman expressed the hope that the new administration of the DAIA will be able to continue the work of bringing various Jewish problems to the attention of the Argentine public. He thanked the Jewish press for its assistance to the DAIA and singled out the Jewish Telegraphic Agency for praise for disseminating information concerning the organization’s activities.
