The New York Federation of Jewish Philanthropies will receive a bequest of $200,000 under the terms of the will of the late Dr. Max Einhorn, noted gastroenterologist, who died here two weeks ago.
Other bequests to Jewish groups include: $100,000 each to the Joint Distribution Committee and Montefiore Hospital of New York; $50,000 each to the Home for Aged and Infirm Hebrews and the New York Guild for the Jewish Blind; $30,000 each to the Young Men’s and Young Women’s Hebrew Associations; and $25,000 each to the B’nai B’rith and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. A number of Catholic, Protestant and non-sectarian organizations also share in a total estate of some $2, 000,000.
