Dr. S. Eliashev, director of the Eastern European department of the Israel Foreign Ministry, who is now touring Eastern Europe, was received over the week-end by Edvard Kardelj, Yugoslav Foreign Minister, in Belgrade, it was learned here today. The Israel Minister to Belgrade, Moshe Yishzi, was present.
Eliashev reported to Tel Aviv that a friendly conversation took place, revolving around the question of tightening Israel-Yugoslav bonds of amity. He plans to visit Warsaw this week, after which he will go to Moscow.
