Dr. William Filderman, leader of the Jews in Rumania who had been deported to Transnistria on the charge that he opposed the special “Jewish tax” which the Rumanian authorities imposed upon the Jewish population, this week returned to his home in Bucharest and resumed his activities as head of the Jewish community, it was reported here today.
