Dr. John H. Finley, Associate Editor of the New York Times, distinguished educator and publicist, will be the principal speaker at a dinner on February 5, marking the tenth anniversary of the Jacob H. Schiff Center, the Bronx, according to a statement issued by Judge Albert Cohn, of the Supreme Court of the Bronx, chairman of the Dinner Committee.
“This program has been carried on in one of the best equipped Community Centers in Greater New York. The workers and friends of the Center who wil attend this dinner will show a mark of loyalty to the manifold activities and to its rich record of achievement in the decade of service.”
In addition to Dr. John H. Finley, the dinner program will include addresses by Sol. M. Stroock, Bernard S. Deutsch, Judge Jonah J. Goldstein, vice-president of the Jewish Education Association; Harry L. Glucksman, executive director of the Jewish Welfare Board, of which the Jacob H. Schiff Center is a constituent society.
