Dr. George Landauer, who played an active role in the Zionist movement in Germany and Palestine, died here this weekend at the age of 57. He headed the German Department of the Jewish Agency at one time and in 1935 became one of the founders of the Youth Aliyah movement. After the war he headed the Agency office in Munich and was active in the campaign for improved restitution legislation in West Germany.
