Dr. Nahum Goldmann, President of the World Jewish Congress and of the World Zionist Organization, is leaving tomorrow for a one-week tour of Latin America where he was invited by the Council of Jewish Communities of the Argentine to attend the centennial celebration marking the 100th anniversary of the founding of the first Jewish community in that country.
From Argentina, Dr. Goldmann will proceed to Sao Paulo where he will attend the conference of the Union of Jewish Communities of Brazil. He will also visit Rio de Janeiro at the invitation of the Brazilian Zionist Federation.
During his stay in Argentina and Brazil, he will discuss with representatives of the local Jewish communities the possibility of their joining the World Zionist Organization under the terms of the new constitution adopted at the last session of the Zionist Actions Committee last December.
