Dr. Nahum Goldmann, president of the Committee for Jewish Claims on Austria, left today for Germany to hold discussions with Chancellor Adenauer and the Foreign and Finance Ministers of Germany and Austria, on the eve of the Austro-German negotiations opening next Monday at Bad Kreuznach.
One of the major subjects of negotiation will turn on the contribution of funds expected-to provide Nazi victims in and from Austria with additional compensation benefits. In Germany, Dr. Goldmann will make representations on the highest official levels on behalf of Jewish victims of Nazi persecution from Austria.
