The complicated problems involved in enlarging the Jewish Agency by inviting non-Zionist leaders to join its executive, were outlined here today by Dr. Nahum Goldmann at a session of the Agency’s executive.
Dr. Goldmann also dealt with the status of the Jewish Agency in Israel and with the “normalization” of relations between the Israel Government and the Jewish Agency.
In addition, Dr. Goldmann reviewed a number of problems which will be discussed at a meeting of the Zionist Actions Committee at the end of this year. including methods of conducting elections and deciding on representation to the next World Zionist Congress, and on territorial unity of Zionist groups.
