Dr. Nahum Goldmann, chairman of the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany, arrived here today for a series of meetings with leaders of the Government and of the principal West German parties. He is scheduled to confer with Chancellor Konrad Adenauer tomorrow on reparation payments.
Today, Dr. Goldmann met with Erich Ollenhauer, one of the topmost leaders of the opposition Social Democratic Party, who was joined by other prominent members of that party; The Goldmann-Adenauer meeting tomorrow will be joined by members of the new coalition Government as well as by leaders of the German Parliament. Later, Dr. Goldmann will meet also with Heinz Starke, the new Minister of Finance,
On Wednesday, Dr. Goldmann is to deliver an address before the Foreign Policy Association here on “Israel and the Middle East.” He is scheduled to deliver another speech Thursday, before the Central Council of Jews in Germany, at Dusseldorf.
