Dr. Nahum Goldmann, president of the World Zionist Organization, reiterated today his view that representations must be made by Israel to the United States and the Soviet Union for the exclusion of the Middle East from the cold war and for the imposition of an absolute arms embargo on the region.
Speaking to a meeting of top leaders of the Israel General Zionist Party, he also voiced again his feeling that Israel as a state must be integrated into a Middle East federation together with the Arab states. The Jewish State, he insisted, cannot for long act in the region in a vacuum and must find someway of integrating into such a federation which, he held, must come in the future.
