Dr. Eduard Goldstuecker, the Czech Jewish intellectual and writer in exile, has been reappointed visiting professor of comparative literature at Sussex University for another year. Dr. Goldstuecker, who headed the Czech Writers Union before the 1968 Soviet-led invasion of his country, has been on leave from Charles University in Prague of which he was vice chancellor. He was closely identified with the liberal Dubcek regime and fled to England after the Warsaw Pact forces occupied Czechoslovakia.
