Dr. J. A. Greenberg of Baltimore was re-elected today grand master of the regional Independent Order of B’rith Sholom, which convened here for its twenty-eighth annual gathering with a three-day session. H. H. Morewitz, who is chairman of the convention and prominently connected with the Norfolk order, was honored as fourth deputy grand master.
Others chosen were Samuel Steinbach, Baltimore, first deputy grand master; Harry Madanick, Baltimore, third deputy, and B. A. Jacobs, Richmond, fifth deputy grand master. Alexander Pogorelskin, of Baltimore, was re-elected grand secretary, and William Blumberg, Baltimore, treasurer. Mrs. Bessie Blumfield of Baltimore was elected grand matron of the Ladies’ Assembly.
