Dr. William Haber, advisor on Jewish affairs to the U.S. command in Europe, left yesterday for Israel to confer with President Chaim Weizmann, Premier David Ben Gurion and other Israeli officials on problems concerning the evacuation of Jewish DP camps in Germany and Austria.
He also expects to study at first-hand the rehabilitation facilities being made available by the Israeli Government to refugee immigrants. He will stop off in Paris on route to Israel for consultations with Israeli Foreign Minister Moshe Shertok and Israeli representative to the U.N. Aubrey S. Eban.
