Dr. Herzl Berger, a Mapai Deputy in the Knesset, Israel’s Parliament, since 1949, died suddenly today at the age of 58 , He had been coeditor of Davar, the Histadrut daily, since 1935.
Born in Minsk, Russia, Dr. Berger worked as a journalist in Russia, Poland and Germany before settling in Palestine in 1934. He was a member of the Mapai Central Committee and of the executive of the Histadrut, the Israel labor federation.
