Dr. Israel Goldstein, president of the Zionist Organization of America, left here for Germany late yesterday, after conferring with French Catholic leaders on closer Christian-Jewish cooperation.
Before leaving, Dr. Goldstein issued a statement in which he declared that it was necessary for American Jewry to support the rehabilitation efforts of the French Jewish community. The American Zionist leader will attend the world Zionist conference in London next week as a representative of the ZOA.
