Dr. Jacob Hoschander, an eminent authority on the Bible and member of the faculty of the Jewish Theological Seminary, died last Saturday after a brief illness. He was formerly an instructor at Dropsie College and a scholar of wide renown.
Born in Silesia, 1874, Dr. Hoschander was educated at the Universities of Berlin and Marburg where he received a Ph.D. magna cum laude.
