Dr. Victor Jalmidi, 70, Jewish chief medical officer of the Turkish fleet, died here today. Dr. Jalmidi had served in the Turkish navy since his graduation from medical school.
During the World War he was decorated on several occasions by the Turkish government for exceptional bravery.
