Dr. Oscar I. Janowsky, professor of history at the College of the City of New York, will address the opening rally on Thursday evening, December 6, of the Training Course in Club Leadership which will again be conducted this year at the 92nd Street League of Jewish Community Associations under the direction of Janet G. Weisman. Professor Janowsky will speak on the subject: “A Survey of the International Jewish Scene. “
The purpose of the training course is to develop qualified leaders for clubs in Jewish centres. Held weekly, it will be offered in a practical course of fifteen lectures covering techniques and skills, as well as field work in club leadership.
The course will be given by experts in the field of group work. Application for admission should be made to Miss Weisman, 71 West Forty-Seventh street. To qualify, one must be eighteen years or over and have had two years’ college education or its equivalent.
