Dr. Leo Baeck, president of the World Union for Progressive Judaism, today received an honorary degree of Doctor of Hebrew Letters from the Jewish Institute of Religion and the Union of American Hebrew Congregations. He has been in this country for several months in connection with the American Jewish Cavalcade.
