Dr. Leo Jung, noted Orthodox Jewish philosopher, rabbi, educator and author, was guest of honor last night at a dinner marking his 75th birthday and his 45th year as spiritual leader of the Jewish Center here. Dr. Jung, who has been professor of ethics at Yeshiva University since 1931, also serves as president of the World Beth Jacob Movement and of the Jewish Academy of Arts and Sciences. He is chairman of the Cultural Committee of the Joint Distribution Committee. He is the author of numerous works on Jewish life, law and comparative folklore.
